Born in rural Wisconsin, the son of a cheesemaker, Jason Ringelstetter has built a career bridging the worlds of professional audio and innovative product development.
As a music producer, recording, and mixing engineer, he co-owns and operates The Tonic Room Recording Studio in Boise, ID. Since its founding in 2005, The Tonic Room has been responsible for recording, mixing, and mastering over 250 records, collaborating with notable artists such as Joe Jackson, Built To Spill, Eagles of Death Metal, and Josh Ritter. Jason’s audio journey includes an early career with leading touring company Clair Brothers Audio and touring the US with bands like Larue and Maktub (featuring Reggie Watts). He also designed and installed all the production and live performance studios for KRBX Radio Boise, where he served as the community station's first operations manager.
In a pivotal shift, Jason leveraged his technical and entrepreneurial drive to develop EKOShower, a product focusing on water conservation, where he is currently focused on product launch and sales. This work resulted in him being a US patent holder.
Jason is deeply committed to the local music community, co-founding and serving as Chairman of the Board for the Boise Hive, an all-ages, non-profit musician’s resource center. An avid backpacker and coastal sailor, his personal interests reflect his professional commitment to conservation and the outdoors.
